I am making an effort to get back into the swing of things ...... honest...... I am. But OMG the amount of stash I have come across that I'd forgotten about is terrible. It's a good job I can't get about the same as I used to cos I know there would have been tons more. As driving is a problem for me until I get my knee replacement I'm getting about on a mobility scooter, which makes getting across York to the craft shop impossible. I'd like to bet the profits are down at the moment. Having said that I really don't need any more stash. I think we crafters buy goodies for the sake of it and because it's new we have to have it regardless. I'm obsessed with ribbons and buttons and am tearing my hair out because I have some awesome buttons I bought last year and for love nor money cannot find them.... Must look harder......
I haven't got round to entering any challenges yet but I have just finished a birthday card for my Auntie next month. I have been playing with my Cricut Expression which I haven't used for a long long time. Trouble is when I came to use it I'd forgotten how......... Had a play for a bit and things came floating back. Need to do a card for my lovely mate Andrea who I haven't spoken to for a while. She loves recieving hand made cards and when she gets one you'd think someone had given the world. It's nice to know you are appreciated though and she is a sweet heart so she deserves a surprise now and again. Wonder if I'll manage it this week with it being Wimbledon I won't hold my breath.
